Natural Rubber Biodegradation by Cladosporium fulvum and Enzymes responsible for Biodegradation
Abstract: Rubber products are widely used in our daily life these products are mainly made up of Natural rubber, which is obtained from the latex of tree Hevea brasiliensis. After usage of these products its disposal is the worldwide solid waste problem. One of the solution to this problem is microbial degradation of the product. During the present study rubber degrading microorganism were isolated. In the isolated organism Cladosporium fulvum effectively degraded the rubber sample.
