The present study is aimed at the plant regeneration from internode, leaf, node and shoot tip of cultures of Scoparia dulcis L. (Scrophulariaceae),a branched herb with high potential in traditional and and folk medicine. The effects of the different media with MS composition supplemented or not with varying concentrations of plant growth regulators on the cultures of Scoparia dulcis as well as the variation in response of four different explants were studied. The results are varying in different media supplemented with 2,4-D, IBA,BA and also in basal medium. Maximum response was obtained on supplementing the MS medium with IBA.
