The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of gluten-free diet(GFD) on clinical, para-clinical and morbid parameters in celiac disease in adults. , : To achieve this objective a retrospective study based on 35 patients was conducted . This representative sample is characterized by a mean age of 30.30±11.43 years and an average BMI of 18.20 kg/ m²±3.67. This study confirms the predominance of women, with a sex ratio Woman / Man of 1.77and a variety of clinical manifestations and absence of asymptomatic form of the disease. This series is characterized clinically by digestives symptoms dominated by diarrhea (77.1%), abdominal pain (74.3%) and anorexia(40%) which the decreases of the frequency observed after GFD are significant. Whereas for digestive symptoms represented primarily by muco-cutaneous pallor, weight loss, fatigue and osteo-articular symptoms which are marked in94.3%, 77.1%, 82.9% and 28 ,6%, respectively, there was a significant decrease of their frequency after the monitoring GFD and also for all pathologies associated dominated by anemia (80%), and all biological and serological disturbances. A non-significant increase in the frequency of total villous atrophy was observed, reflecting poor attendance vis-à-vis the GFD.
