MAIN ASPECTS OF HOSPITAL DENTISTRY: REVIEW OF ITS IMPORTANCE.

Medicine and dentistry are united mainly with patients hospitalized in poor health, to determine how best to act on oral health, and aimed at improving the patient's overall health and quality of life. The objective of this study was to present the importance of Hospital Dentistry, so that in the near future will be recognized by all classes, and especially in hospitals that they may be aware of how important is the presence of a dental surgeon in the hospital . In methodology for the identification of literary findings on hospital dentistry of this review, a detailed search strategy was conducted for Medline (Pubmed), Scielo and Bireme in the years 2002-2016, as well as books and magazines related the theme.
