This project introduces an effective scheduling algorithm, which attempts to maximize cloud resources utilization, improve the computation ratio, and reduce makespan, overhead and delay in a cloud-based software system. However, virtualized data centers consume huge amounts of energy, which increases the operational costs. To optimize resource usage and reduce energy consumption of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Cloud, it needs a continuous monitoring and consolidation of VMs using live migration and switching idle hosts to the sleep state. Cloudresources plays an important role in performance, cloud computing mainly focuses how to effectively utilizes the cloud resources to obtain the maximum performances.
