Shashi Deshpande and Anita Nair are the contemporary Indo-English novelist who have presented the empowerment of women by identifying their self. Deshpande’s novels based on gender biased discrimination, man-woman relationship, plight of women from tradition to modernity, women’s psyche and their potential.
