A novel complexes of the type [M(o o L2] (where M = Pd and Pt; (o o) = oxalate , malonate and 1,1- cyclobutanedicarboxylate ; L = 1,3-dihydro-2-telluraindene (C8H8Te) and 5,6-dimethyl-1,3-dihydro-2-telluraindene (C10H12Te) have been prepared. All the prepared complexes was characterized by elemental analysis (CHN), conductivity measurements and 1H - and 13C –NMR, FT IR and U.V-visible spectroscopic data. The molar conductivity study indicate that all the prepared complexes are neutral and behave as non electrolytes in two different solvents CH2Cl2 and DMSO in the range 10-5 -10-3 M at room temperature.
