Gender equality is a condition in which there is no differentiation or discrimination on the basis of only gender and this is essential for a better society and economy. We as a society did great for the gender equality but still we need to go far away. Technology has very great role in this process of achieving the goal of gender equality but there are so many psychosocial hurdles also, like access to technology , stereotypes and prejudices about gender, lack of family and social support system, burden of responsibilities and expectations, lack of confidence because of mocking at workplace and at home, male dominant atmosphere of workplace etc. if we can work on these factors we can speed up the progress towards achieving the goal of gender equality.
