Each school has a learning recovery plan in place to help reduce the learning losses caused by the COVID-19 outbreak. The focus of this study will be on the reading abilities of Grade 2 learners, specifically those who engaged in the blended learning mode. The goal of this study is to see how effective after-class enrichment reading sessions are as an intervention for improving grade 2 children\\\'s reading skills. This study sought to establish the major impact of an after-class enrichment session on responders. The study was undertaken at Rogelio Gatchalian Elementary School from the first to fourth quarters of the 2023-2024 school year. This study addressed research concerns with a mixed-method approach that combined quantitative and qualitative research. Mixed methods can provide a more complete picture than a single quantitative or qualitative study since they combine the strengths of both disciplines. The researcher adhered closely to the technique while doing this inquiry. Preliminary procedures, such as obtaining approval and endorsement, were completed with the Division Research, Innovation, and Development Committee (DRIDC) and the school principal. This research was reviewed and evaluated by the Education Program Supervisor in English before being used in the classroom. The researchers determined the learners\\\' reading levels by administering the Comprehensive Reading Literacy Assessment (CRLA) Pre-Test. The respondents to this survey were Full Refresher learners. During the program\\\'s implementation, the researcher applied the Marungko Approach. It was recommended by the Education Program Supervisor. Each participant had obtained their parents\\\' consent. The reading time was 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Participants attended a series of reading sessions. The researcher tracked the participants\\\' reading skills and noted their improvement. After several months, the researcher administered the Comprehensive Reading Literacy Assessment (CRLA) Post-Test and compared the participants\\\' reading skills to the CRLA PreTest. The results demonstrate a significant difference in reading skills before and after the program\\\'s implementation. To recap, the after-class enrichment session is a creative and productive reading style that improves retention of material compared to classroom reading.
