This study assessed the Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes of Guidance Teachers in public and private schools in Valenzuela in handling students with depression. There were 93 guidance teachers who participated in this study. Frequency and percentage distribution, weighted mean, Chi-square, and One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used to analyze and treat the data collected. Results indicated that there were no significant differences on age, gender, and number of cases of teachers in handling students with depression. Lastly, the research found out that the guidance teachers had high knowledge, skills, and attitudes in terms of their level of agreement in handling students with depression followed by attitude and knowledge. The researcher recommended seminars and training workshops for the respondents that would help them become more equipped in dealing with students with depression. Moreover, the researcher proposed a guidance intervention program intended for the guidance teachers which were the subjects in the study.
