The Covid-19 pandemic has had significant repercussions on the mental and psychological health of the global population, affecting various social groups, particularly undocumented Sub-Saharan immigrants. This study focuses on the impact of the Sars-Cov2 zoonosis on the mental and psychological health of this vulnerable population, with an emphasis on socio-economic challenges. Due to their undocumented status, these individuals are especially affected by the harmful effects of the global health crisis on physical, psychological, social, and economic levels. The study was conducted through qualitative interviews and the 10-item Perceived Stress Scale by Cohen S, Kamarck T, &Mermelstein R (1988) (as used by Langevin V, Boini S, &Françoi M, 2015), targeting undocumented Sub-Saharan immigrants in Morocco during the first and second waves of the Covid-19 pandemic. The findings show that the zoonosis exacerbated the perceived stress related to the pandemic situation while intensifying social and economic inequalities. The results suggest the need to implement targeted interventions aimed at improving the psychological health of these vulnerable populations during constraining situations such as pandemics.
