Employee retention is a critical challenge in the Information Technology (IT) industry, where skilled professionals frequently seek better opportunities. This study aims to identify and analyze employee opinions on the most effective retention strategies in the context of Hyderabad, one of Indias prominent IT hubs. Data was collected through structured questionnaires from 150 IT employees working in mid-sized and large IT firms. The results indicate that key factors influencing retention include career growth opportunities, work-life balance, salary benefits, employee engagement, and leadership support. The study emphasizes the growing importance of non-monetary strategies alongside traditional benefits and provides practical recommendations for HR leaders to strengthen their employee retention frameworks.
