Due to the inductive and capacitive nature of loads, the transmission of reactive power through transmission lines can cause network instability issues. In this work, we seek methods for power distribution and voltage stability analysis in the SNE power grid using the Newton-Raphson method; the study of voltage-reactive sensitivity (U Q) and the QU and PU curves. This study shows that nodes T100 and LAM have respective sensitivities of 1.7813% Mvar and 0.6243% Mvar, with a QU curve with a slope resembling a straight line and a PU curve with a steep slope (T100) followed by a moderate slope for the LAM node. Given the voltage sensitivity and node curves, T100 is a critical node, followed by LAM, which is moderately stable; the rest are stable.
