AI crimes are considered crimes of the near future, if not already. Technological development over the past years, which has accelerated recently, has contributed to the emergence of many of these crimes. Advanced programming has given some AI-powered machines dangero us capabilities that can even lead to unilateral decision-making, like a human being. Therefore, this research aims to codify the status of AI crimes, identify those responsible for committing these crimes, and impose penalties on them. The importance of the topic lies in the fact that no area of our current era is devoid of these smart applications. With their widespread deployment, related crimes will increase. Therefore, it was necessary to research criminal liability for crimes committed by them, who will be held responsible, and who will be held accountable so that legal penalties can be applied. The topic raises several issues related to a fundamental problem: if AI commits a crime, who will be criminally responsible for that crime? This leads to several issues, such as: To what extent can legal personality be granted to AI entities, and the inability of current laws to keep pace with this development? In this research methodology, the researcher will adopt a descriptive approach to trace these incidents back to the laws that criminalize them. He will then use an analytical approach to understand the criminal implications of this phenomenon.
