VALUABLE LESSONS LEARNED WITH ADULT LEARNERS OF COLOR IN IMMERSIVE TECHNOLOGY

The article focuses on research that explains how the integration of lifeexperiences and talents of adult learners (aged 25 and above), into learning activities increases learner engagement.Research has shown that adult learners have talents that can enhance their learning experiences(Park University,2025).This studywill highlight the impact of incorporating the talents of adult learners of color in the learningprocess.Key insights include the critical importance of rapport building, understanding learners specificneeds,and tailoring instructional approaches toalignwith andragogical principles.There search erargues that dynamic course design incorporates varied instructional materials, leverages technology for edutainment, and fosters environments where learners can contribute their rich experiences. Emphasized strategies involve moving beyond traditional lecture formats, regular student checkins, and embracing all forms of feedback to ensure engaging and relevant learning experiences that support adult learners in achieving their career and personal goals.
