Background: Following the initial confirmation of Indias first case on January 2020,a systematic screening facility for SARS-CoV-2 infection was established in accordance with the guidelines at every hospital. Subsequently, in light of the emergence of variants such as Omicron, this facility was enhanced to function as an integrated one-stop center for comprehensive screening, diagnostic testing, and therapeutic intervention. This study seeks to evaluate both the demographic profile of patients and the operational efficacy of the Flu OPDat GIMS.
Materials and Methods: All the patients visiting Flu OPD form 1st January 2022 to 31st March 2022 were line listed and a random convenience sample of 147 patients were included in the study for this questionnaire-based descriptive study.The analysis of sociodemographic variables and variables related to COVID 19 screening services was expressed using descriptive statistics like mean, median, proportion and relevant graphical presentation.
