Against a background of increasing deforestation, the present study in the Dosso Partial Wildlife Reserve aims to contribute to the sustainable management of the reserves forest resources. The study of the floristic diversity and demographic structure of the woody stand was approached using the transect method. Systematic sampling enabled 207 inventory plots to be set up in the various occupancy units. These plots were 2500 m² in the agrosystems and 1500 m2 in the tiger bush. Within each plot, dendrometric surveys were carried out and regeneration counted in 25 m2 plots. A total of 77 species were recorded, divided into 59 genera in 28 families. This flora is dominated by Fabaceae (25.98%), followed by Combretaceae (10.39%). A significant difference was observed between the average diameter, average height and average crown height in the different occupancy units. The tiger bush is the most covered, with a 27.19% cover rate, while the fields have the highest regeneration rate (52.25%) and basal area (24.8 m2 /ha). Fields record the highest diversity (4.47 bits) and equitability (0.75). Analysis of beta diversity reveals floristic similarity between the different units (IS > 0.50). From the IVI analysis, a combretization pattern emerges in the tiger bush, while the field-fallow complex is dominated by large-diameter, giant-growing species. The inverted J shape of the stand's diameter and height class distribution reflects a better representation of younger individuals, compared with older ones. This characterization could serve as a tool for drawing up a sustainable phytodiversity management plan for the RPFD.
