The Covid 19 outbreak hit the whole world with unprecedented consequences and had led to significant impacts on nurses and other healthcare providers. A descriptive survey study was undertaken to find out the challenges faced and support received during Covid-19 pandemic by staff nurses in a selected government hospital in Kolkata. Through purposive sampling, data were collected from 100 staff nurses who worked at least 15days in a COVID-19 ward. Ethics committee approval and informed consent from the participants were taken.
