This article deals with the harmonic compensation through a parallel active filter. After coming out with a dispositive of the filter, we design a control strategy based on the synchronous reference dq and linear control. In order to validate our design and control strategy, we have developed a Simulink model; this model has passive parallel filters. The simulations through Matlab Simulink environment were carried out. The results show a good improvement on the harmonic distortions percentage.
