Introduction: The diagnostic disclosure of a chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) represents a crucial moment in the care pathway, potentially influencing the acceptance of the disease and therapeutic adherence. Few Moroccan studies have evaluated its actual quality. Objectives: To describe the modalities of IBD diagnostic disclosure at the Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima University Hospital, assess patient satisfaction, identify factors associated with quality disclosure, and define avenues for improvement. Methods: This was a retrospective cross-sectional study including 226 patients followed for IBD (Crohn's disease or UC). A specific questionnaire collected demographic and clinical data, as well as disclosure modalities. Satisfaction was assessed on a scale of 0 to 10.
