A series of new pyrimidine derivatives containing pyrazole moiety were designed and synthesized. In addition, various substituents were introduced in to the entering pyrazole aldehyde ring and ?-keto ester with the purpose of exploring the influence of substituent on anticancer activity by regulating the electronic and steric effects. The synthesized compounds were characterized by various spectroscopic techniques.
