Summary of Thesis

The study aimed to assess the implementation of the Disaster Risk Reduction (DRRE) in Bakilid Elementary School Cabancalan Elementary school and Maguikay Elementary School in the Division of Mandaue City during the school year 2019-2020 as basis for coping response mechanism. It employed a descriptive survey method using a validated questionnaire to 133 teachers and 150 learners who were randomly selected for the conduct of the study. Data gathered were analyzed using percentage weighted mean T-test and Chi-square.
