AN EPIC RETOLD: A CRITICAL AND TRAGITAL NARRATION OF THE MAHABHARATA.

The paper attempts an analysis of the recent developments in the field of communication and social media in transforming literature, while focusing on Chindu Sreedharan\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s twitterature, \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'An Epic Retold\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'. Considering the subject and medium of narration the work is a \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'tragital\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' rendering of the Indian epic, Mahabharata, while highlighting the loopholes and silences of the text when Bhima, the Pandava brother is the narrator. The paper also emphasizes the scope of \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'co-tellership\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' that is offered by a platform like Twitter, and the inter-connectedness between disciplines like literature and media.
