The present study emphasizes on the morphometric variation for length and width of different species of spiders collected from different geographical regions of South India. Seven species of spiders belonging to six genera in six families were recorded. Spiders exhibit a greater degree of sexual size dimorphism. Females are larger with distinctly broad abdomen than males having small and narrow abdomen in seven species of spiders. The size of individual would vary in different species with respect to their habitat, adult lifestyle and their sexual size dimorphism.
