MACROCYCLIC COMPLEXES: A NEW WAY FORWARD INTO THE MEDICINAL WORLD.

The unique fundamental physicochemical properties of macrocyclic complexes have attracted researchers to conduct extensive research to discover novel molecules that could be useful for developing alternative medicines for the treatment of several diseases including cancer. The current advances in the field of macrocyclic chemistry, especially, having the ability to prepare metallomacrocycles have enabled human beings to invent new techniques for the preparation of antimicrobial and anti-tumor agents.
