GENDER CONCEPTUALIZATION OF ENGLISH PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS.

The manuscript presents an investigation of the process of gender conceptualization, characterization of its layers and containing parts, finding out factors and parameters forming basic gender concepts taking into account their national-cultural, etymological and historical peculiarities. Not less important in the work becomes comparison of masculine and feminine stereotypes in the English phraseological world view, exposure and explanation of gender asymmetries and connotations, which will create ground for lexicographical description of gender marked phraseological units of the analyzed language and their adequate interpretation in the contexts of usage.
