Cytotoxic, phytotoxic and antimicrobial characterization of Meliltous parviflora

Abstract
Meliltous parviflora collected at Bannu District, KPK, Pakistan was evaluated for pharmacological properties by using reported procedures.The results showedthat Melilotusparviflora’s methanolic extract has reasonable lethal effect on Brine Shrimps.The growth of rice stems and rootswere inhibited. The growths of bacteria i.e. BacillusSeptica, E.Coli, and Bacilluswereretardateby usingMelilotusparviflora’s methanolic extract. Asperillusniger growthis more stunted as compared to Asperillusflavus and Asperillusfumigates species of fungi. The liner growth measured for Asperillus niger, Asperillusflavus and Asperillusfumigates on slanted Melilotusparviflora’s methanolic extract added mediawere 1.5 cm, 5 cm and 5.5 cm respectively.
