PREVALENCE, CONNAISSANCES ATTITUDES ET RELATIVES A L'OBESITE DES FEMMES ENCEINTES PENDANT LES VISITES PRENATALES AU CENTRE DE SANTE MARIE IMMACULEE D'ETOUG-EBE (YAOUNDE-CAMEROUN).

Contexte: L\\\'ob?sit? est un probl?me de sant? publique qui est en augmentation fr?quente dans le secteur obst?trical. Chez les femmes enceintes, un gain de poids excessif est g?n?ralement associ? ? de nombreuses complications ? court et ? long terme aussi bien chez la m?re que chez l\\\'enfant pendant la grossesse, durant l\\\'accouchement, et apr?s l\\\'accouchement. Au Cameroun en g?n?ral et ? Yaound? en particulier, il n\\\'existe pas de cadre d\\\'?ducation des femmes enceintes relatif ? l\\\'ob?sit? et il n\\\'existe pas des ?tudes publi?es ?tablissant le niveau de connaissance des femmes enceintes vis-?-vis de cette maladie. L\\\'objectif de notre ?tude est d\\\'?valuer le niveau de connaissance sur l\\\'ob?sit? des femmes enceintes. Mat?riel et M?thodes: Nous avons men? une ?tude de type CAP pendant 08 mois au Centre de Sant? Marie Immacul?e d\\\'Etoug-Eb? ? Yaound? au Cameroun. L\\\'?chantillonnage ?tait cons?cutif et exhaustif. Nous avons inclus dans notre ?tude des femmes enceintes ?g?es d\\\'au moins 18 ans et ?tant ? leur premier trimestre de grossesse. Au total 150 femmes enceintes ont particip? ? l\\\'?tude. R?sultats: 22,7% des femmes enceintes ?taient ob?ses selon l?OMS. 10,7% avaient pris plus de poids que recommand? pendant la grossesse selon l?OIM. Parmi ces derni?res, 43,8% avaient des attitudes mauvaises, 68,8% avaient une mauvaise pratique et 75% avaient des connaissances mauvaises sur l\\\'ob?sit?. Conclusion: Il en ressort que les femmes enceintes de notre zone d\\\'?tude avaient des connaissances limit?es au sujet de l\\\'ob?sit? ce qui expliquerait leurs mauvaises pratiques et attitudes.
