Maize (Zea mays) is a cereal cultivated in different agro-ecological zones. However corn is attacked by pest as Sitophilus zeamais. The latter can cause qualitative and quantitative losses ranging from 30 to 56% in three to eight months of storage. These losses caused by S. zeamais are often difficult to estimate because of their large variability that can be linked to the agro-ecological conditions, to the period of the corn harvest. In Africa, S. zeamais is particularly common on corn. While the biodemographiques characters affect the biological effect of the insect. Thus, this study in to determine the existence of groups of S. zeamais morphometric some countries of West and central Africa. This sample of maize previously infected with S. zeamais in these different countries. The results have revealed the existence of morphometric groups between some of the countries in the study.
