Abstract
We report a comparative evaluation of chitosan nanoparticles[ChNPs] based on size variation by modulating the fabrication conditions. Antibacterial tolerance and Zone of growth inhibition against E.coli and S.aureus was assessed. The biocompatability of heterogenous ChNPs was further assessed in HEK and SiHa cancer cell lines. Sensitivity of S.aureus was significantly enhanced in ChNPs of intermediate sizes of 80nm and 110nm. Negligible cytotoxicity was observed in both cancer and HEK cell line
