Abstract

Extraction of uranium from El Sella composite sample by solvent-in-pulp technique (SIP) were carried out solvent (tri-ethyl amine) mixed with the leaching slurry without prior filtration. About 90% uranium extraction efficiency was attained by the application of the extraction (solvent-in-pulp) optimum conditions. Also, about 92% of the loaded uranium could be stripped by using Sodium Carbonate as an effective stripping agent.
