Abstract

La gyn?comastie, sed?finicomme la prolif?rationb?nigne du tissuglandulairemammairem?le, elleestg?n?ralementcaus?e par uneactivit? accrue des ?strog?nes, une diminution de l\'activit? de la testost?roneoul\'utilisation de nombreuxm?dicaments. Bien qu\'ils\'agissed\'unepr?sentationassez courante etsurtoutd\'?tiologieb?nigne, ellepeut causer uneanxi?t?consid?rable chez les patients. L\'?tapeinitialeconsiste ? exclure la pseudogyn?comastie par un interrogatoirebienmenu et un examen physique minutieux. Uneapproche par ?tapes qui inclutl\'imagerie et les tests de laboratoire pour exclure les n?oplasmes et les endocrinopathiespeutfaciliter le diagnostic ?tiologique. Si les r?sultats de toutes les ?tudessontnormaux, unegyn?comastieidiopathiqueestretenue.
