Abstract
TBAF has been found to catalyze the Knoevenagel condensation between aromatic aldehyde and nitrile derived active methylene compounds and this has led to a one-pot synthesis of 5-aryl-2H-1,2,3-triazole-4-carbonitrile derivatives at room temperature.
