CAS RARE DUN TERATOME DERMOIDE DE LOCALISATION RENALE CHEZ UN NOURRISSON

Renal teratoma is rare, andonly few cases have been described in the medical literature. the diagnosis is rarely suspected before surgerybecause clinical and radiological features are not specific.The final diagnosis is invariably made at histopathologicalexamination. We report the main radiologic features of an unusual case of mature cystic teratoma arising fromthe left kidney in a six months old boy. Nephrectomywas performed and a large, fatty mass arising from the left kidney was excised.The final pathologic diagnosiswas confirmed as cystic-solid renal teratoma. The renal teratomapresent the differential diagnosis with renal cystic masses for children and especially nephroblastoma, therefore,We should be think awareof this rare tumor so as to avoid the highly toxic chemotherapy in young patients.
