Abstract

Upgrading existing knowledge has been a part of human learning including new skills, technologies, and concepts. These technological advances make learning less user-dependent and increase inter-examiner reliability. The increasing scope of the specialty in the diagnosis of varied lesions, their early diagnosis, and their respective management. Radiological advances have eased the assessment of bone levels, soft tissue, metabolic and elasticity assessment, etc. In this review, we are going to discuss some of the latest technological advances for the diagnosis and imaging of oro-maxillofacial structures.
