Abstract

A reproducible method has been developed in Biolistic transformation and regeneration of transgenic plant from embryonic callus of rose. DNA delivery was optimized by ? glucuronidase (Gus gene).The target explants and supplementation of pre and post bombardment of culture media with 0.25M myo-inositol influenced transformation efficacy.
