Abstract

A new variety AbrusprecatoriusL.var.albo-spermumHassan,RahmanetAfroz,var.nov.isfirst time recorded fromBanaskantha district based on literature review of North Gujarat. In North Gujarat this species has not been recorded in flora of Banaskantha.AbrusprecatoriusL. var. albo-spermumHassan, RahmanetAfroz, var. nov.is closest to AbrusprectoriusL.,but differs by its white coloured oval shaped seed,short gynoecium which half the length of longer filaments and with a short style.
