Abstract

Oral health plays an important role in the overall health of the body. Most of the patients with pain in the oro-facial region make their first make their first contact with a general medical practitioner. Medical professionals receive very little training in addressing oral health issues during their educational programs or elsewhere thus they display low levels of oral health knowledge and low levels of confidence in its applications.Thisstudy was carried out to assess the oral health knowledge, attitude and practice among medical undergraduate students of Govt Medical College, Kozhikode.
