Abstract

Seven taxa of genus Hymenochaete Lév. (H. carpatica, H. cinnamomea subsp. spreta, H. corrugata, H. cruenta, H. macrospora, H. minuscula and H. rubiginosa) have been described, which are new additions to the earlier reported 6 taxa [Rattan (1977)-4 (H. leonina, H. semistupposa, H. mougeotii, H. luteobadia) and Sharma (2012)-2 (H. cacao, H. tabacina)] from Himachal Pradesh. Of these, 3 species (highlighted) are new records for India.
