Abstract
The anation kinetics and mechanism of cis[Co(en)2(H2O)2]3+ by o-phenylenediamine will be described in which the incoming ligand OPDA behaves as a neutral bidentate (N, N) donor. The anation rate has been studied as a function of substrate complex concentration, ionic strength, pH, o-phenylenediamine, temperature and medium dielectric constant.
