Abstract

Hip dislocation is a permanent displacement of the femoralheadoutside the acetabulum. Due to the increasingnumber of road accidents, thispathologyisexperiencing an increase in its incidence.Standard radiographyremains essential for diagnostic confirmation.Computedtomographyremainsreserved in most cases for the search for associatedlesions. Emergency management isnecessary to avoidirreversiblesequelae, includingnecrosis of the femoralhead.
