Abstract

Titanium has revolutionized the field of prosthodontics due to its exceptional properties. This light weight, yet incredibly strong metal has become a cornerstone in dental restorations. The basic properties of titanium like biocompatibility,corrosion, strength,shape memory etc. are discussed in detail. These properties of titanium make it the miracle metal in dentistry.
