Abstract

Femoral neck fracture is an evolutionary step in the life of older patients. The prolongation of the operating time increases morbidity and mortality. All patients admitted to the emergency department for femoral neck fracture were included. Patients were divided into two groups according to intervention time (group 1 <48 h, group 2 > 48h). All demographic data (age, sex, ASA class) as well as the nature of treatment were noted. A Postoperative follow-up was done over the course of 3 months. The aim of our study is to analyze the Factors involved in operating delay after femoral neck fracture in elderly patients.
