Psychosocial problems among the elderly, such as depression, anxiety, social isolation, and elder abuse, significantly impact their quality of life. This narrative review synthesizes preventive strategies for these issues, drawing from research studies published between 2020 and 2024. The findings highlight the effectiveness of community-based interventions, social support enhancement, psychological therapies, and policy initiatives in mitigating psychosocial problems among older adults.
