ROLE OF ELECTION SLOGANS IN UTTAR PRADESH POLITICS AND IMPACT ON YOUNG VOTER

The presented research paper is based on the role of election slogans in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. In elections, candidates and parties are face to face, and whose slogans have the power to change power. There is a fight for this too, in the politics of Uttar Pradesh where two parties have always dominated first Congress and second Bharatiya Janata Party But in the nineties, regional parties like Bahujan Samaj Party and Samajwadi Party emerged and made their presence felt in the regional politics, which led to major social and political changes in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. Election slogans and young voters complement each other in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. While slogans attempt to address the expectations and needs of the youth, the youth work to test these slogans and their truthfulness. Slogans prepared keeping the youth in mind not only decide victory or defeat in elections, but also open new dimensions of social and political change. Election slogans play an important role in shaping the political outlook of the public. The slogans of the parties reveal their ideology and issues. The main objective of the presented research is to study the role of election slogans in the politics of Uttar Pradesh and also to study the popularity of election slogans in the politics of Uttar Pradesh on young voters. To study the impact of election slogans on young voters. In this research paper, mixed method has been used to comprehensively understand the role, nature, spread and impact of election slogans in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. In which both qualitative and quantitative data have been used. 93 respondents have been included in the present study through which the popularity and impact of election slogans in Uttar Pradesh politics on young voters can be ascertained.
