Abstract

Strategic Decision Making is always a core activity of the business and as the matter of fact that these decisions can take business to new height or may turn it into hay. To make these decisions effective top level management swings between intuition and rationality. Focusing the same this study tend to examine the impact of intuition on strategic decision making on a sample of 241 educationists (mainly comprising top level management) from education sector situated in selected five districts of Uttarakhand. India. For the purposes of data analysis statistical tools such as averages, standard deviation, percentages and regression were used. Results revealed that. There is a significant association between intuition and intuitive strategic decision making.
