RELIGION ET DEVELOPPEMENT INCLUSIF EN AFRIQUE :LA MEDIATION PAR L EDUCATION

As an institution that connects humans to the sacred, religion is a means of social cohesion. In doing so, it is expected to promote social inclusion through socio-economic development. In this regard, the concept of inclusive development in general, and particularly in Africa, cannot be reduced to a purely theological character or overlook the educational dimension. The central issue in this article is the role of education in promoting social equality through religion for the development of Africa. The hypothesis is that to achieve equality and inclusive socio-economic development in Africa, it is necessary to anchor religion with education. The objective of this research is to show that education is the catalytic element between religion and harmonious socio-economic development in Africa. The perspectives highlight the need for integrating education into religion for social equality and development in Africa, as well as a redefinition of the relationships between African societies and the sacred.
