Interleukin-17 in immunity of thyrotoxicosis

Abstract
This study was conducted on the Diabetes and Endocrines Medical Center / Thi-Qar city, during the period between May 2013 till October 2013 comprised ninety five Iraqi Arab with thyrotoxicosis(75 female, 20 male) their ages range (23-50). who were attending Diabetes and Endocrines medical center. All patients were selected for diagnosis on of basis of absolute dependency according to the revised criteria for diagnosis of thyrotoxicosis (goiter,TSH,T4 ,T3,anti-TPO,anti-TG,anti-TSH).It aims to demonstrate the role of IL-17 in thyrotoxicosis. The results reveal that the level of IL-17 elevated and it had positive correlation with thyroxine (T4) hormone and anti-TSH(autoantibody)
