Abstract

Objective: The aim of the research is to determine the most common forms of congenital heart disease in Saudi Arabian children and to gauge parents' awareness and understanding of congenital heart disease in their offspring. Conversely, the study will also assess indicators of parental awareness, like as consanguinity, socioeconomic position, and education. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study approach will be used in this investigation, which is especially well-suited for determining the prevalence of congenital heart disorders (CHDs) in children as well as the awareness levels of their parents or guardians at a given moment in time. Ideal for real-world healthcare settings, this approach enables researchers to gather and examine data from a wide range of people without changing the study environment.
