It can progress to end-stage renal disease, requiring dialysis or kidney transplantation. Hemodialysis, the most commonly used treatment, imposes significant physical and psychological burdens, adversely affecting patients quality of life. Psychological well-being is often compromised in these patients, necessitating appropriate interventions such as group therapy.
Objectives : To assess the level of psychological well-being among patients undergoing hemodialysis, To evaluate the effectiveness of group therapy on psychological well-being among these patients, To determine the association between psychological well-being and selected demographic variables.
